Can Nutritional Therapy Help Autism?

Autism and Nutrition

Those with autism can be extremely selective when it comes to eating, which can restrict the consumption of a range of nutritious and healthy foods, leading to possible nutritional deficiencies and gut dysbiosis (1, 2). There is considerable research now on the importance of a healthy gut-brain connection for everyone, but even more so for those with autism and neurodiversity (3). This is where I can help with personalised nutritional strategies.

I also offer support for those who have problems with sleep, reactions to certain foods and hyperactivity.

I will always aim to identify the underlying causes and drivers of issues, then support you to improve nutrition and diversity of diet over time and reduce any foods which may be contributing to problems
